Terms and Conditions

By renting a dumpster from ARS Dumpster Rentals, you agree to the terms below covering rental period, delivery, weight limits, accepted materials, fees, and payment. A summary also appears on our FAQs page.

Rental Period

Your rental starts when the dumpster is delivered and wraps up on the scheduled pickup date we’ve agreed on. Need a little extra time? Extensions are usually available depending on availability, and may come with a small additional fee.

Delivery and Pickup

We’ll work with you to find the perfect spot for your dumpster — give us clear directions so we can place it where it’s most convenient. We’re not responsible for property mishaps if instructions lead us astray, but we’ll do our best to keep things smooth. Keep the area around the dumpster clear for drop-off and pickup; overfilling or blocked access may result in a small extra charge.

Scheduling Access

Let us know when you’re ready for pickup. Keep driveways free of parked cars or obstacles — if we need to make an extra trip due to access issues, a small fee may apply.

Using Your Dumpster

The dumpster is yours for disposing of accepted materials (see our Accepted Materials page). Please don’t move it from where we set it down — let us know if it needs a new spot. Keep loads below the fill line and within the weight limit we share with you.

Safety Practices

Fill the dumpster up to the rim only, keeping debris from hanging over the sides. An overload fee may apply if it’s packed too full, along with a per-day fee until it’s ready for pickup.

Weight Limits

10-yard, 15-yard, and 20-yard dumpsters include 2 tons. 25-yard and 30-yard dumpsters include 3 tons. Going over adds an Overweight Charge per extra ton — we’ll confirm specifics when you book. See our full pricing guide.

What to Toss (and What to Skip)

General household items, construction debris, and yard clippings are welcome. Please leave out: hazardous materials (chemicals, asbestos, medical waste), flammable items (gasoline, paint, propane), electronics, tires (unless pre-approved), appliances (unless pre-approved), and heavy materials like dirt, concrete, or bricks (call ahead — see our Heavy Debris page). Mattresses, box springs, and sleeper sofas are an additional $100 per piece if disclosed, up to $140 per item if found undisclosed.

Fees and Payment

By providing your card, you authorize us to charge it for the rental cost, delivery, and any additional fees — including overweight loads, restricted materials, inaccessible drop-off or pickup, or overloading past the fill line. We’ll keep you posted if extra costs come up.

Payment Made Easy

Reserve your dumpster with a debit or credit card, kept on file until everything’s settled. If plans change and you cancel, a Cancellation Fee ($150 within 24 hours of scheduled delivery) helps us adjust; any difference from what you’ve paid can be refunded or saved as credit.

Permits and Permissions

You’re responsible for securing any necessary permits or approvals — from your local government or HOA — for dumpster placement. See our Permit Guide for details.

Taking Care of Things

If the dumpster is damaged beyond normal use, we’ll ask you to cover the fix. We place and pick it up carefully, but we are not responsible for driveway or lawn damage from the location you asked us to place it.

Damage Care

If something happens to the dumpster during your rental, let us know right away and we’ll work with you on repair or replacement costs. Public-property placements requiring a permit need a new permit for each job site or order beyond the original timeframe. For theft, vandalism, or fire, we’ll work together to cover costs.

Local Rules

These terms apply to all orders with us and are guided by applicable state laws and local guidelines.
